Wait what am I reading those prices right?!? Less than $400 USD for a 34" 1440p ultrawide 144 hz monitor with freesync?!?

Isn't that like, half the price of what other similarly featured monitors usually cost?

It appears that this will most likely not make it to the states but if it does expect a far higher price due to tariffs.

Uses a VA panel, the others yous speak of are IPS at 120Hz overclocked.

The only other VA monitor like this is around $900, from MSI.

Most monitors can easily achieve what this monitor has for some time now and it's dramatically going down in price as direct successors to existing I/O are imminent between now and next year (HDMI 2.1, Displayport 2.0, USB4 that merges Thunderbolt 3) that have far longer longevity.

Most knowledgeable enthusiasts are sitting on their wallets waiting for monitors like Asus's ProArt Display PA32UCG monitor to come out.

An overwhelming amount of monitors this year are DOA to most who give monitor manufacturers the biggest ROI for their R&D

Just be clear, HDMI 2.1, Displayport 2.0 give anything to a 3440x1440, 144Hz monitor?

By the time it comes out you can afford a new house..Asus and to a lesser extent others are never accurate for release dates. The last monitor that promised nice stats was delayed over a YEAR and still was limited and price was inflated.

VA though, viewing angles and response times might become an issue.

For "avoid competing", maybe read "they don't have patent licensing agreements"? It's nice to hear about things that might be available, but products you can't practically get aren't that much use.

The monitor is fine although it is a bit expensive for what it is, if I had a lot of money and little desire to think I would buy it, but if I have a tighter budget and I don't mind stopping to compare then I wouldn't buy it.
